The Boy was never actually a boy – simply a child – and who said they were lying? The Wolf however, has always been real (if yet unseen) and all of us are walking on egg shells... NB/GNC: Mourning Call is an abstract queering of The Boy Who Cried Wolf. Exploring the myriad nuances of non-binary identities through emotive, sexual and animal readings of the body; policed by heteronormativity and queer(ed) aesthetics.

"I have the legs of a man,

I have the heart of a child,

I bare the weight of a womxn,

I have the sex of the land.

They clawed me out of the womb,

They severed my tie to source,

Thy told me I was man,

They took away my voice.

I'm more than a body.

I'm not just a body.

My guts are crystalline.

My Soul made of mercury."
